SGF is a private investment office founded by Gastón Silva. It holds permanent capital for multi-year appreciation and income.

The thesis is the further financialization of everyday life — more of household savings and benefits routed through market products. Research tools are built in-house so those decisions stay clear over long horizons.

Gastón Silva

Gastón is an engineer with 15+ years building software used by millions. His own capital has been at risk for 10 years, through more than one bear market and through waves of hype — held without letting a headline rewrite the thesis when the technology had not changed. Competence in the underlying technology is how those distinctions get made. Today he runs SGF, allocating permanent capital and building the research tools used to underwrite the book.
